i'm pretty skeptical about a lot of these types of programs. particularly when they are new to me. i find a good AV does this for you anyway. however, i still run various anti-spyware from time to time. i tried this one because it was recommended on bleeping computers (a good malware removal site). i gave it a try and was impressed. it has a clean gui. clearly designates detections (or suspected detections). has a thorough clean (reboot to clean). and most importantly, it found an old remnant of a toolbar buried deep in the bowels of my registry. well done.
-good company.

-needs to be frequently re downloaded.

I can't offhand see that it did anything useful

Cons

Said it was removing some dubious plugin from Torch- but it completely uninstalled Torch instead.

Summary

Can't find a bargepole long enough. Deleted.

"awesome anti-malware program that deletes anything bad"

Pros

scans and gets rid of all malware, spyware, viruses, worms, and adware quickly and effectivly.

Cons

I really don't have anything bad to say about this other than it requires your computer to reboot but that's not a big deal.

Summary

I've been looking for a free anti-malware program as good as this for about a year, I've had many problems with third parties changing my home page and new tab page, adding tool bars, making my computer run slower. I tried everything and the files would still pop back up. I was on the verge of buying a $60 program that i didn't even know if it would work or not, but then I found AdwCleaner. AdwCleaner quickly scans all kinds of malware and deletes them with one quick reboot. I am very glad I found AdwCleaner and my computer is now malware free. Thank you AdwCleaner
